It's December - Haven't done my shopping yet!

The SEHA (South East Hunter) and CCHA (Cape Cod Hunter) Associations just had their annual banquet last Sunday. The photos of the annual points awards are on my website:      http://www.zenfolio.com/shoppix/p115544276 .

My new photo products were well received, including photo books, magnet sets, ornaments and canvas prints, and iPhone covers with imprinted photo images.

Just dropped off my two main cameras for some TLC at the  'Camera Spa'! .....otherwise know as Midstate Camera Repair in Warwick, RI. THE place to go for cleanings and repairs.

Had a call over the weekend to take photos of a WGHA member including her two dogs and horse. One of the dogs is a puppy and growing quickly so she really want some great photos at this stage of its life. Should be a challenge, like photographing a two yr old child, but fun, & with beautiful results! Often it is one of the candid captures that cause my client to go... WoW!... That's it! That's THE one!

There are of course many gorgeous captures but usually only a few really outstanding ones. Those are the ones that make photography so meaningful to me. I like to go WOW! too, and do especially when reviewing my recent senior photo session galleries.

Oh, I should mention, at least for Attleboro area residents, that I will be running another photography class, starting near the end of January. It will be evenings at Attleboro High School. Please contact me if you are interested. Email me at : shoppix@photo.net , and I'll get you signed up.  It will be a 6 wk session, one evening per week. Weather permitting, we may do a couple of weekend morning/afternoon photo shoots in the area.

The last class covered the basics of using your camera...Learning what the heck all those buttons and menu items mean & how they work! So this time...??? ,,,lets see where the interest lies. I could run another beginning class, or what to do the all those photos on the media card. that would cover downloading to the computer and some basics of editing with Adobe Photoshop Elements. The 3rd alternative would be shooting manually and not using the 'auto' settings all the time. So email me and tell me what your interests are.

Steve
